  • The tour requires participants to walk for two and a half hours long.
  • The tour is not suitable for young children and is not wheelchair friendly.
  • Participants must be 13 years and above to participate.
  • Limited parking is available at Marina South Pier. We would strongly encourage you to take the public transport.

What should I bring
  • Participants should bring along an umbrella, hand sanitisers, insect repellent, and a bottle of water.
  • Participants are encouraged to dress comfortably and wear covered shoes for hiking/trekking.
  • Participants are encouraged to bring their own earphones (with a standard 3.5mm audio jack) because we will be using radio guides for the tour!
  • Asthmatic individuals are encouraged to bring their inhaler.
  • Individuals with seasickness should carry their medicine along.

The visit to Kusu Island begins with an introduction to its cultural and spiritual significance, setting the stage for an enriching experience. Participants will have the rare opportunity to listen to temple caretakers share captivating stories about the island, including the secrets of the child-wishing tree (求子树) and the eight Taoist deities that reside in the temple. A guided tour around the island will uncover more fascinating insights into its myths and traditions. Join us to deepen your understanding of Kusu Island’s spiritual and historical legacy!
